Job summary

Omega Healthcare is seeking a coder-lead to optimize coding processes across departments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient coding and help implement coding standards and best practices.

You will analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, train junior coders, participate in quality assurance, and stay updated with changes in coding regulations to uphold high quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of coding principles, medical terminology, and anatomy.
• Experience in healthcare management services, preferably in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with coding software and EHR tools such as Epic Systems.
