Responsibilities

• To create offline CMM programming using MODUS CMM Software for NPI per customer models/drawings
• Prove out CMM program online with excellent repeatability.
• Prepare CMM Loading Instructions and Inspection Plan for CMM Programs.
• Inspection of parts using CMM and provide necessary reports to Quality/Machine Shop
• Interpret CMM reports and assist MRB team for non‑conformance investigation
• Inspect the first‑off parts parameters to be inspected on CMM as and when required.
• Ensure the CMM machine is in working condition through preventive maintenance and calibration as per the required standard
• Be instrumental in continuous improvements
• Attend internal Quality meetings

Qualifications

Education: BE in Mechanical/Aeronautics with Minimum 6 Years’ Experience; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 8 Years’ Experience

• Must be able to create offline and online CMM program in MODUS CMM software.
• Must be proficient in using High‑Level Programming skills in MODUS CMM software.
• Must be able to operate/interrogate CAD data in conjunction with associated technical data.
• Must have excellent CATIA skills in Part Modelling, Assembly and Drafting Workbench.
• Must have good Logical Operator Skill such as IF, IF‑ELSE, AND, OR Operators to use in CMM programs.
• Excellent Knowledge in GD&T. Certificate Preferred.
• Must be able to prove out CMM programs on CMM machine.
• Analysis support for non‑conformance investigation of deviated parameters in CMM reports.
• Must be able to read & interpret engineering drawings, part prints.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 14001 standard.
• Basic Awareness on EMS, ERT, First Aid, Applicable OCP’s.
• Strong Problem‑Solving Skills.
• Must be able to contribute to Continuous Improvement Activity.
• Candidates with Aerospace background from Manufacturing Shop‑floor preferred.
