Job summary

ClearDATA is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to design, build, migrate, and optimize cloud infrastructure for enterprise healthcare clients. You will work with Project Managers as the technical authority to translate complex architecture into secure, compliant operations.

Location: Mumbai - Remote. Work Mode: Remote. Shift 5:30pm–2:30am IST. This role requires 6–7 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience and professional cloud certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years hands-on cloud engineering or advanced systems administration experience.
• Deep, practical knowledge of at least one major public cloud with the ability to architect across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Expert IT operations: networking, identity and access management, and Linux/Windows administration.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation pipelines (Terraform).
• Strong collaboration with project managers, providing clear technical updates and estimates.
• Professional level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the build, configuration, and deployment of secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Drive and execute complex cloud migrations from legacy environments to modern cloud architectures.
• Own the technical milestones for Professional Services engagements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Architect and implement IaC solutions using Terraform or cloud templates for repeatable environments.
• Ensure deployments comply with healthcare frameworks and internal security standards.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and mentor teams for smooth transitions.

At ClearDATA, we provide secure, compliant cloud and managed services designed specifically for the healthcare industry. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join our Professional Services team and lead technical implementations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Job Summary:

We need a hands-on, senior technical engineer to design, build, migrate, and optimize cloud infrastructure for our enterprise healthcare clients. You will work closely with Project Managers and act as a technical authority, turning complex architectural plans into secure, compliant, and operational realities.

Work Mode: Remote

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday - 5:30pm IST to 2:30am IST

Location: Mumbai - Remote

Core Responsibilities

• Advanced Infrastructure Deployment: Lead the build, configuration, and deployment of secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Migration Leadership: Drive and execute complex cloud migrations, moving mission-critical healthcare workloads from legacy environments into modern cloud architectures.
• Project Delivery and Technical Guidance: Own the technical milestones for Professional Services engagements, ensuring work is delivered on time, matches the architectural design, and sets a standard for quality.
• Automation and Tooling: Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or native cloud templates to build highly repeatable and scalable environments.
• Compliance Adherence: Ensure all cloud deployments strictly follow healthcare compliance frameworks and our internal security standards.
• Handoff, Documentation, and Mentorship: Create comprehensive technical documentation and provide guidance to ensure smooth operational transitions to our frontline teams.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on cloud engineering or advanced systems administration experience. It is important we stress this experience requirement because these are our frontline folks supporting our healthcare managed services.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a strong ability and willingness to architect and troubleshoot across all three.
• Technical Foundation: Expert-level background in core IT operations, including complex networking, identity and access management, and advanced operating system administration for both Linux and Windows.
• Scripting and Automation: Advanced proficiency in scripting (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and building infrastructure automation pipelines. Terraform
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work alongside project managers, providing clear technical updates, realistic timeline estimates, and strategic input on client calls.
• Certifications: Professional level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are strongly preferred.
