Job summary

Equiniti is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer in Bengaluru to design, build, and operate modern DevOps and platform capabilities for product teams. You will lead CI/CD, cloud, automation, reliability engineering, and AI-assisted DevOps practices while shaping standards across squads.

You will mentor engineers, drive trunk-based development, IaC, and secure pipelines on Azure (primary) and AWS, with strong emphasis on observability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve DevOps standards, CI/CD practices, and SDLC controls.
• Promote automation-first, quality-driven engineering.
• Act as a senior technical contributor and advisor within squads.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, YAML-first CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement trunk-based development, Infrastructure as Code, and progressive delivery patterns.
• Contribute to shared pipeline frameworks, templates, and platform tooling.
• Support release planning, deployment execution, and rollback readiness.
• Ensure services are observable, resilient, and operable.
• Participate in post-release reviews and reliability improvements.
• Use and extend AI-assisted DevOps tooling to improve productivity and insight.

Role Summary

The Staff DevOps Engineer is a senior hands‑on engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating modern DevOps and platform capabilities for product engineering teams. This role focuses on execution excellence, enabling teams through strong CI/CD, cloud, automation, reliability engineering, and AI‑assisted DevOps practices, while influencing standards and best practices within and across squads.
