Job summary

Ericsson AB is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in India to design, deploy, and manage advanced cloud solutions using OpenStack and OpenShift. You will automate operations with Bash and Python, advise customer teams, and ensure high performance and security.

You will work with SDN/NFV, OpenStack, Ceph storage, and Kubernetes, performing incident response, tuning, and optimization while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. Strong Linux and networking skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years of experience in any Private Cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience in OpenStack cloud administration tasks and Linux administration.
• Candidates with RHCSA and RHCE certifications will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to enhance cloud operations efficiency and quality.
• Work with SDN and NFV concepts to optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
• Handle OpenStack cloud administration tasks including performance tuning and resource management.
• Troubleshoot OpenStack services and underlying infrastructure.
• Monitor system health with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Administer Linux platforms (RHEL/Ubuntu) including security, kernel tuning, and storage management.
• Manage network components (TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, DNS, DHCP).
• Operate hardware interfaces (iLO, iDRAC, CIMC) and ensure security compliance.
