Capgemini seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud initiatives on AWS. You will design secure, scalable, cost-optimized solutions, drive adoption strategies, and mentor technical teams across large transformations.

• Lead end-to-end design of AWS-based solutions for complex workloads.
• Drive migration, modernization, and optimization of apps and data platforms.
• Establish cloud governance, security frameworks, and best practices.
• Implement IaC with Terraform for multi-environment deployments.
• Architect big data solutions using EMR clusters/serverless.
• Optimize cloud costs via rightsizing, RI, tagging policies.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git for automated deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on roadmaps.
• Evaluate new tech for containerization (Docker) and serverless.

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud initiatives. This role involves designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions on AWS, driving cloud adoption strategies, and mentoring technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, automation, and governance, along with leadership experience in large transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define cloud architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of AWS-based solutions for complex workloads.
• Drive migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives for applications and data platforms.
• Establish cloud governance, security frameworks, and best practices using IAM, KMS, and Vault.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi-environment deployments.
• Architect big data solutions leveraging EMR clusters and EMR Serverless.
• Optimize cloud costs through advanced strategies (rightsizing, reserved instances, tagging policies).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git for automated deployments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders on cloud roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption for containerization (Docker) and serverless architectures.

Your Profile

• 9+ years (with at least 6+ years in cloud architecture and AWS)
• AWS (EC2, S3, EMR, IAM, KMS, VPC, Lambda)
• EMR (Cluster and Serverless)
• Terraform (IaC)
• Jenkins, Git (CI/CD)
• Security and compliance (IAM, KMS)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to define cloud adoption frameworks and governance models.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers.
