Job summary

Satcon is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer with hands-on design experience in EHV substations and transmission lines (220kV, 132kV, 33kV, etc.). The role involves designing lattice and pipe-type switchyard structures, gantry towers, and line towers, as well as overseeing drafting work and coordinating with clients.

The ideal candidate should be adept with Staad.Pro Connect and AutoCAD, and reside within 5 km of the office. Salary expected is around Rs.

Qualifications

• Graduate civil engineer with design experience in EHV substation and transmission line projects.
• Salary expectation around Rs. 75,000 per month.
• Candidate should reside within 5 km of office for preference.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural design software is required.

Responsibilities

• Design lattice/pipe type EHV switchyard structures, gantry towers and transmission line towers.
• Prepare and review drawings for structures, foundations, and related facilities.
• Coordinate with clients for approval of drawings and provide design clarifications.
• Assign works to civil draftsmen and check draftsmen drawings.

Job description

• Graduate civil engineer from a reputed collage / University.
• Salary expected is Rs. 75,000/-.
• Candidate residing with 5km from office location will be preferred.
• The candidate must have good design experience for EHV Substation and Transmission line projects (220kV, 132kV, 33kV etc.) and fully knowledgeable on computer applications like Staad.pro connect, Autocad etc. in civil and structural design engineering.
• The scope of work will include designing of lattice / pipe type EHV switchyard equipment support structures, Gantry tower and beam structures, Transmission line towers (Lattice), Industrial sheds, Factory sheds, Substation buildings, foundations, columns, plinth beam, roof slab, roof beam, Switchyard equipment foundations, Outdoor and Indoor cable trenches, Surface drains, fence, fence gate, boundary wall, DG house, Security building, Staff quarters, Dormitory etc.
• The scope of work shall also include
  • giving assignment to civil draftsmen and checking of the drawings prepared by the draftsman
