Job summary

Citigroup Inc. seeks an experienced Data Analytics professional for Citi Analytics Information Management in Bengaluru to develop and maintain reporting systems, transform and automate reports, and deliver insights from large data sets to support business goals.

You will interpret data to identify trends, mentor analysts, collaborate with on-site partners in India, ensure data accuracy, and adhere to Citi’s Risk and Control guidelines while driving impactful decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BigData systems, Hive, Hadoop, Spark (Python) and cloud-based data management technologies.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Know-How of Credit Cards domain, marketing and audience engagement.
• Proven experience as an analyst with strong reporting and data analysis background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting systems to track key performance and metrics relevant to the organization’s goals and objective. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the reports and dashboard.
• Rationalize, Enhance, Transform and automate reports as required by business teams. Perform adhoc analysis and root cause analysis to address specific reporting/business challenges.
• Interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Translate data into customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders.
• Individually collaborate & manage end-to-end project communication with onsite business partners and team in India.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor a team of analyst maintaining high quality work.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency through following standard control procedure and adhere to Citi’s Risk and Control guidelines.

Experience and Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in BigData systems, Hive, Hadoop, Spark (Python) and cloud-based data management technologies.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar software.
• Know-How of Credit Cards domain, marketing and various methods / tools business use to reach and engage with their audience.
• Proven experience as an analyst, with a strong background in reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to create presentation, present reports, findings, and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage projects and mentor team.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives in areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities, etc.

Educational and Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
