The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
Responsible for supporting in improvement of structural robustness of Products/Projects through explicit & implicit LS-Dyna Simulations
Can convert a physical / field problem into a simulation problem (BC definition) independently
Perform the Structural simulations, analyze the results, and prepare a proper report with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance
Good at result interpretation, may need help with design solutions
Independently handle challenging projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders
Can mentor other team members in critical problems
Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions
Pro-active knowledge documentation and sharing
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.
EXPERIENCE: 6-10 years
Technical Expertise:
Expert in LS Dyna , LS Prepost, explicit and implicit analysis, sub-assembly and assembly level simulation
Proficient in Hypermesh - 2D plastic shell meshing and 3D hex/tet meshing
Aware of Ansys Workbench , Structural linear, non linear simulation.
Required Technical Experience:
Finite element modeling and analysis using LS Dyna and LS Prepost. Candidates should have hands- on experience with challenging explicit and implicit analysis projects
Experience in complex material modeling and selection
Awareness/hands-on FSI using ALE or SPH modeling
Awareness/hands-on LS TaSC / LS OPT is preferred
Should have very good knowledge of FEM theory and numerical methods
Should have experience in providing logical and feasible design suggestions based on FEA analysis
Experience in the selection of element type, mesh size, material properties, element quality check, and selection of the right material models and parameters
Awareness/hands-on experience with Six Sigma tools and practices is preferred
Awareness/hands-on experience with automation is preferred
Experience in interpreting and understanding FEA results, post- processing, and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions
Expertise in 2D/3D FE modeling in HyperMesh for aero-engine/turbomachinery/automotive/heavy engineering components is preferred.

TECHNICAL
Knowledge of the Strength of Materials, Fracture Mechanics, and Impact Dynamics
Proficient understanding of material modeling and product testing
Proficiency in Simulation tools like Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, Ansys, etc.
Results interpretation skills.
Knowledge of instruments used in physical test measurements (for eg, strain gauge, accelerometer etc.)
MANAGERIAL
Proficient in Soft skills
Should have experience in global interaction.
