Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH in Vadodara, India, seeks a skilled draftsman or mechanical engineer to convert project specifications into detailed manufacturing and development drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with technical standards.

You will design plate-cutting layouts and laser cutting programs to maximize material utilization, support new product development, manage data and lessons learned, and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders for continual improvement, while aiding fabrication

Qualifications

• ITI draftsman or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Understand build package/specifications from project.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare development drawings.
• Prepare plate-cutting layouts and laser cutting programs to maximize material utilization.
• Support in new product development and management initiatives.
• Manage data, capture lessons learned, provide feedback to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and support shop team during fabrication.
