Job summary

Axidraft is seeking a motivated Design Engineer in Mohali to join our engineering design services team. You will work on real projects with overseas clients, take responsibility, and grow your mechanical design skills over the long term.

The role emphasizes SolidWorks and AutoCAD expertise, 3D part modelling, weldments, sheet metal, drawings, BOMs, and managing client markups with attention to detail and professional communication.

Qualifications

• 35 years of practical experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, weldments, mechanical design, or similar industry will be preferred

We are a growing engineering design services firm working with overseas clients in the fencing, fabrication, and mechanical design industry.

We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, good attention to detail, and a professional attitude towards work.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to work on real projects, take responsibility, improve their design skills, and grow long-term in mechanical design.

Experience Required

• 35 years of practical experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, weldments, mechanical design, or similar industry will be preferred

Salary

• 35,000 - 60,000 per month
• Salary will depend on skills, experience, and practical test performance
• Yearly salary review based on performance, skills, responsibility, and consistency

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on:

• 3D part modelling and assemblies in SolidWorks
• Weldment and fabrication models
