Contribute to market data, OMS and execution systems; work with traders and quants; mentor juniors; expect strong C++17/20, Linux, multithreading and FIX experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C++ development; strong Modern C++, data structures, algorithms, STL and OOP.
• Experience Linux, multithreading, TCP/IP and socket programming.
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-latency trading applications in Modern C++ (C++17 / C++20).

An established brokerage firm investing in proprietary trading across ETFs, index products, commodities and systematic strategies is hiring a senior C++ developer to build and optimise high-performance, low-latency trading applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain low-latency trading applications in Modern C++ (C++17 / C++20)
• Build and optimise market data, order management and execution systems
• Develop multithreaded, high-performance applications and exchange connectivity
• Optimise application performance, reliability and scalability; troubleshoot production issues; review code
• Work alongside traders, quants and technology teams; mentor junior developers

Required skills:

• 5+ years of C++ development; strong Modern C++, data structures, algorithms, STL and OOP; Linux, multithreading, TCP/IP and socket programming; strong debugging and performance optimisation.

Preferred skills:

• Aalgorithmic trading, proprietary trading or HFT experience; FIX protocol, market data feeds and low-latency system design; Boost, IPC, shared memory and Python.
• The gate here is engineering depth trading domain exposure is preferred, not required.
