• Bridge business requirements with systems design through all phases of opportunity ideation, problem resolution, and systems enhancement
• Work with business and leadership to understand business needs, requirements, and strategic opportunities
• Represent business requirements
• Define and design business functionality of systems
• Ensure systems meet defined business requirements
• Participate in and facilitate meetings, walkthroughs, workshops, and deliverable reviews
• Define a strategic vision for key systems in partnership with portfolio solutions architects
• Apply knowledge to implement solutions for complex problems and new ideas
• Uncover and maximize business, customer, and user value through facilitation, analysis, and modeling techniques
• Support Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts during design and build phases
• Direct own work through goal setting, time management, and planning to meet project deadlines
• Ensure work accuracy and completeness to maximize quality and avoid rework
• Build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years working with insurance policy administration systems
• Experience with Ingenium preferred
• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a Technology delivery environment
• Accreditation in Business Analysis or equivalent credentials/experience
• Degree in a related discipline (Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and business processes
• Experience in a project environment preferred
• Understanding of testing principles and methodologies
• Ability to analyze how product changes affect testing requirements
