Job summary

BuildxPartners is seeking a Senior BI Developer to join our German-based client’s initiative. You will build and maintain Exasol’s internal data infrastructure, create dashboards, and deliver data-driven insights across the organization. You will work independently, ensuring data quality and scalable reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BI, strong SQL, Power BI, Airflow, Snowflake, Python, and experience with ETL pipelines. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data and business intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
• Proficiency in Airflow and Snowflake are mandatory.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages for data work.
• Strong data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts).
• Experience with ETL/data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt-core, Fivetran).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices (GitHub CI).
• Ability to work independently and manage your own priorities.
• Strong communication skills in English.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in building and maintaining Exasol’s internal data infrastructure and reporting solutions. Working independently, you will create dashboards, reports, and data pipelines that enable stakeholders across the organization to make informed decisions.
