Job summary

EXL Analytics is seeking an Analytics/Assistant Manager/Power BI Developer to lead end-to-end project delivery, structure analytical solutions to meet business objectives, and translate client needs into actionable insights.

You will develop sophisticated dashboards and KPI scorecards, connect Power BI to diverse data sources (including Snowflake), and guide client sessions across time zones to drive value and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related analytics fields.
• 3.5–6.5 years of analytics experience.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end Power BI solutions.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and data visualization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Emphasis is on managing end to end project delivery. Structure analytical solution to address business objectives and problem solving. Translate stated or implied client needs into researchable hypotheses. Develop sophisticated dashboards and solutions to incorporate complex client requirements and enhance UX. Facilitate client working sessions and lead recurring project status meetings. Develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients. Able to work in dual shore engagement across multiple time zones. Manage business uncertainty. Secure new opportunities within existing account relationship. Assess customer needs, pain points, behaviors, activation levers, headroom for growth, value propositions, etc. Manage day-to-day project operations, serve as the functional and domain expert on the project team to ensure that they meet client expectations. Provide quality oversight on deliverables prepared by the project team before submitting to client.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science/engineering, operations research, or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcomed to apply3.5-6.5 years’ relevant experience preferably in analyticsDesign, develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for ETL, automation and data processing.Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.Integrate Alteryx with database, API and BI tools.Should be able to handle complex data queries/client requirements with hands on experienced on tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot and DAX for successfully designing, modelling, and implementing end to end power bi solutionsInvestigate & troubleshoot Power BI reports and data models including investigation of data issues, data validation and balancing, fix developed automated reports and dashboards.Maintain and create Power BI dashboards from scratch with enhanced customer/end-user experience with inclusion of story boards, smooth navigation and best in class visuals.Insurance Industry knowledge preferredOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challengesIs able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globePreferred Notice Period: 15-30 Days
