About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, BI tools, data analysis, and business intelligence solutions, with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineering teams to develop impactful dashboards, define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify business opportunities, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and key performance drivers.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Superset, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Write complex, efficient, and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Define, standardize, and track KPIs, metrics, and business performance indicators.
• Translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into scalable and effective BI solutions.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams to support data pipelines, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Present analytical findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders and senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical methodologies, and BI capabilities.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business reports and dashboards.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing best practices in analytics, reporting, and BI development.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of BI standards, documentation, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5–8+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Proven experience with one or more BI and visualization platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset, Looker, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Good knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into effective, data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
