Senior Business Analyst – RCS (Rich Communication Services)

The Senior Business Analyst for RCS will act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the analysis, design, and optimization of RCSrelated products and processes. This role is pivotal in shaping business strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of RCS initiatives within the telecom domain.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis & Optimization
Analyze and document existing RCS business processes, systems, and operations to identify improvement opportunities, cost reductions, and new revenue streams.
Develop business models, process flows, and use cases for current and future states, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
Lead process design and optimization eJorts, ensuring operational eJiciency and scalability.
Stakeholder Management and ability to manifest data driven insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, project managers, and Biz Ops to business analytics to unlock potential growth opportunities
Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing business needs with technical capabilities, and act as a liaison between business and IT teams.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to help stakeholders identify problems, understand needs, and guide decision-making.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Elicit, analyze, and clearly document business and system requirements for RCS projects.
Translate complex business needs into data driven actionable solutions and functional specifications.
Prepare comprehensive business analysis documentation, including business requirements, use cases, user stories, and UAT plans.

Data Analysis & Insights

Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for RCS decision-making.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented solutions.
Testing & Implementation Support for new product features on the platform
Lead or participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and usability of new or enhanced RCS systems and processes.
Collaborate closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and quality standards are met.
Strategic Planning & Solution Design
Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed RCS solutions, considering technical, operational, and financial aspects, and present recommendations to senior management.
Support business case development and proposal preparation for new RCS initiatives.
Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to ensure team eJectiveness.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the analysis team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s in technology/engineering degree from Tier I institute in Computer Science, Electronics and communications
7+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in telecom or RCS related projects preferred.
Strong understanding of RCS technology, telecom business models, and digital communication trends is preferred
Proficiency in data analysis tools, business & business process modeling, and documentation standards.
Excellent presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the telecom industry is an added advantage
