Qualifications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Digital Transformation & AI based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and emerging AI capabilities, helping organizations turn transformation opportunities into measurable business outcomes. You will lead digital transformation and M&A initiatives from discovery through delivery, partnering closely with business and engineering teams. The role combines business analysis, process optimization, project coordination, and executive-level communication. You will identify opportunities to apply Generative AI, AI agents, and workflow automation to improve efficiency and decision-making. Working across multiple stakeholders and initiatives, you will help define priorities, manage dependencies, and track progress against strategic KPIs. Accountabilities

• Lead digital transformation and M&A initiatives across the enterprise, coordinating activities from initial discovery and requirements definition through implementation and adoption.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement opportunities involving Generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, and related technologies to address business challenges.
• Develop business cases, solution proposals, executive presentations, project documentation, and other materials required to support transformation decisions.
• Define project KPIs and success measures, monitor delivery against business objectives, and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and cross-functional dependencies while maintaining alignment between business priorities and technology delivery.
• Support Agile practices including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and user acceptance testing.
• Build strong relationships across business, technology, engineering, and leadership teams to encourage alignment, adoption, and successful delivery.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and industry practices, assessing their potential relevance to enterprise transformation initiatives and sharing insights with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline, combined with a full-time two-year MBA from a leading business school.
• 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in business analysis, business partnering, technology consulting, AI project leadership, product analysis, or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain concepts, software development lifecycle practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and business analysis techniques.
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process improvement, project management, data analysis, reporting, and translating business needs into actionable technology solutions.
• Experience developing business cases, executive presentations, project KPIs, and transformation documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical exposure to AI and Generative AI solutions such as LLMs, AI agents, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or comparable technologies is highly valued.
• Experience with M&A integration, enterprise transformation programs, IT infrastructure, or cloud platforms is advantageous.
• Certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, ITIL Foundation, or relevant AI certifications are beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment while maintaining focus on measurable business outcomes and strong stakeholder alignment.
