Job summary

Scan-IT in Pune seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions. You will gather requirements, model processes, and guide design through collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring solutions align with strategic goals.

You will drive data-driven improvements, manage stakeholder communications, and contribute to successful project delivery through detailed specifications and use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience working as a Business Analyst in Shipping and Logistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong in EI integration and understands integration flow and mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business teams and external partners.
• Keen attention to detail in identifying and implementing improved workflows and solutions within software applications, with a collaborative approach to team ideas and product development.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and SQL).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile and Waterfall).
• Knowledge of SoapUI and Postman is a plus.

• Recommend Innovative Solutions: Propose innovative solutions to optimize and streamline business operations.
• Design and Implement Solutions: Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with business requirements.
• Create Specifications and Use Cases: Develop functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to guide the development process.
• Ensure Quality Standards: Validate that solutions are thoroughly tested and meet established quality standards.
• Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across functions during specification, testing, and initial implementation phases to ensure seamless delivery.
