Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery sessions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the real business problem, clarify ambiguities, identify gaps, assumptions and edge cases.
• Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements including workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria for design, development and QA teams.
• Bring a strong software product mindset to requirement analysis considering user journeys, rules, integrations, and non-functional expectations.
• Mentor and review the work of junior Business Analysts to move beyond note-taking toward meaningful analysis and ownership of requirements.
• Analyze system interactions, data flows, API dependencies and business rules to ensure solutions are functionally complete and technically feasible.
• Define and improve BA templates, SOPs, checklists, and quality standards across discovery, traceability, change management, and UAT support.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, UI/UX Designers, Developers and QA Engineers to ensure requirements are practical and testable before development begins.
• Support pre-sales by understanding customer needs and contributing to indicative estimates and proposals.
• Identify recurring requirement-related issues and drive improvements to reduce ambiguity and rework.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and ownership-driven Senior Business Analyst strengthen and lead our Business Analysis function.

This is not a role limited to attending meetings, documenting notes, or converting discussions into requirement documents. The person will be expected to understand the business problem deeply, challenge incomplete requirements, connect business needs with practical software solutions, and ensure that the delivery team has sufficient clarity before development begins.

The selected candidate will lead a team of Business Analysts, improve their capabilities, define better analysis practices, and establish repeatable standards for requirement discovery, documentation, traceability, change management, and solution validation.

The role is ideal for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with a software product mindset, structured thinking, practical technical awareness, and the ability to drive improvement across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery sessions with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the actual business problem, clarify ambiguities, andidentifygaps, assumptions, dependencies, and edge cases.
  
• Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements, including workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and backlog items that can be used effectively by design, development, and QA teams.
  
• Bring a strong software product mindset to requirement analysis by considering user journeys, business rules, roles, permissions, integrations, reporting needs, validations, and non-functional expectations.
  
• Lead, mentor, and review the work of junior Business Analysts, helping them move beyond note-taking toward meaningful analysis, proactive questioning, and ownership of requirements.
  
• Analyze and document system interactions, integration requirements, data flows, API dependencies, and business rules to ensure solutions are functionally complete and technicallyfeasible.
  
• Define and improve BA templates, SOPs, checklists, quality standards, and review checkpoints for discovery, traceability, change management, sign-off, and UAT support.
  
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA Engineers to ensure requirements are practical, testable, and sufficiently detailed before development begins.
  
• Support pre-sales and early-stage assessments by understanding customer needs,identifyingscope boundaries and risks, preparing high-level requirement summaries, and contributing to indicative estimates and proposals.
  
• Proactivelyidentifyrecurring requirement-related issues across projects and drive improvements that reduce ambiguity, rework, missed scenarios, and delivery delays.
