Job summary

Sigmoid is seeking a Business Insights & Analytics professional with strong experience in BI, data analytics, dashboard development, and deriving actionable business insights for Fortune 500 clients. Qualifications

• 4–8 years of BI and data analytics experience.
• Hands-on with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar.
• Strong SQL and ETL knowledge.
• Experience building complex BI dashboards and reports.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable BI solutions based on client requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for Business Insights & Analytics professionals with strong experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, dashboard development, and deriving actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in BI tools and SQL, along with the ability to understand business problems, engage with clients, and translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable BI solutions based on client requirements.
• Develop complex dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
• Participate in client discussions to understand business problems, technical requirements, challenges, and decision-making processes.
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting, analytics, and decision-support solutions.
• Drive deep analysis and generate actionable insights beyond surface-level observations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the performance of existing dashboards, SQL queries, and BI architecture.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Document SOPs, project deliverables, processes, and technical/business requirements effectively.
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and internal governance processes.
• Work independently with minimal guidance from BIA leadership.
• Manage and contribute to multiple engagements/projects in parallel.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of overall experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL concepts.
• Experience in developing complex BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, visualization, and business insights.
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in understanding business processes, decision flows, reporting requirements, and decision-support needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
