Role - Practice Leader, Pharma and Life Sciences Analytics

About the Role

The Practice Leader will own and drive practice strategy, innovation, and operational efficiency within our pharmaceutical and medical technology service offerings. This individual will bring 12+ years of experience in Pharma/MedTech industries and analytics consulting to provide subject matter expertise, manage stakeholder relationships, and offer strategic insights for complex decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Industry Expertise:

Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, with understanding of regulatory environments, market dynamics, and product lifecycle management.

Analytics & Insights:

Use advanced analytics to derive actionable insights across business functions such as market access, commercial strategy, R&D, and supply chain. Lead data-driven initiatives to improve operational and clinical outcomes. Provide strategic direction for client projects, leading cross-functional teams in areas like market access, competitive intelligence, product development, regulatory affairs, and post-market surveillance.

Solution Development:

Design and implement customized solutions leveraging advanced analytics tools such as predictive modeling, data visualization, and machine learning.

Market Research & Trends Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Provide insights and strategic recommendations to clients and teams.

Thought Leadership:

Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, contribute to white papers, industry publications, and client presentations to demonstrate thought leadership.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process enhancements using data analytics and operational insights. Mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE / BTech - CS) from Tier I / II universities like IITs / NITs and MBA from top-tier B-schools (IIM) preferred
• 12-18 years of experience in Pharma / Medtech / Life Sciences industry with success in strategic leadership roles
• Deep understanding of Pharma operations, technology trends, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive growth, and deliver client value
• Strong leadership and management skills to motivate teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
