Weekday AI's client is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to drive strategic insights from large data sets. The role emphasises end-to-end data analysis, dashboard automation, and building data science models to support executive decision making.

You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and CX teams, applying SQL, Python and visualization tools to uncover actionable insights and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
• 3+ years of data analytics or data science experience.
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking.
• Hands-on with SQL, R, Python, Excel and data manipulation.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets to solve high-impact business problems.
• Automate analytics dashboards using accurate data structures.
• Perform data mining, statistics, and ML using SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel.
• Form hypotheses, extract and analyze data, present actionable insights.

TheSenior Business Analyst role is one of the most crucial roles in any organization. This role offers taking initiative, dealing with challenging problems, building data science models, finding insights from existing data to drive executive strategy, by presenting it through the power of data visualization.

What you will do:

• You’ll work with large, complex data sets to solve high-impact business problems, which will have a direct impact on the growth of the company.
• You easily automate Analytics Dashboards, through an understanding of data structures, SQL and no SQL dbs
• Solving these problems will involve data mining, experimentation, statistical analysis, and related techniques, and machine learning using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel etc.
• You’ll be involved in multiple cycles of data analysis – forming an initial hypothesis, extracting, analyzing, dissecting that data as per the hypothesis, presenting the insights in a crisp actionable manner, and then keep reiterating the whole process till you reach the conclusion
• Your role would require building data science models using the latest methodologies
• You’ll also be responsible for fixing data issues in coordination with data engineering team and conducting root cause analysis.
• You’ll work with multiple stakeholders from Product, Marketing, Operations, and CX teams

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or related discipline
• 3+ yrs. Experience in data analytics or data sciences, preferably for a product-oriented company
• Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking and strong analytical skills
• Hands-on experience on data manipulation tools like SQL, R, Python, Excel, etc.
• Exposure to visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
