Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Bengaluru, India seeks an outstanding Platform Design Engineer to join the Circuit Solutions Group. You will design evaluation boards for NVIDIA products, drive design execution, and manage documentation for release to manufacturing, interfacing with Silicon, Thermal, Mechanical, SI, and EMC teams.

You will collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to define platform specifications, ensuring performance and test requirements are met.

Qualifications

• BS/MSEE with 5+ years of board/system design experience.
• Proficiency in digital/analog circuit simulation and fault diagnosis.
• Experience delivering complex projects from spec to production.

Responsibilities

• Design responsibility for evaluation boards for Nvidia products (GPUs, CPUs, test chips).
• Drive design execution: electrical schematics, component selection, layout guidance.
• Manage documentation to release the product to manufacturing and act as primary interface to Silicon/Thermal/Mechanical/SI/EMC engineers.
• Collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to create platform specifications and meet performance/testing requirements.
• Hands-on development and testing in lab, validation plans, bring-up, and production/qualification support.

In this role, you will collaborate with other key design teams to develop evaluation boards for different Nvidia products and test chips. What you will be doing:

• Design responsibility for the design of evaluation boards for Nvidia products, including GPUs, CPUs, test chips, etc.
• Drive every aspect of design execution, electrical schematics, component selection, and provide layout guidance.
• Manage the documentation required to release the product to manufacturing and partners, and serve as the primary interface to the Silicon/Thermal/Mechanical/SI/EMC engineers.
• Collaborate with Platform Architects and Chip Leads to create the platform specification and ensure the design meets the performance and testing requirements.
• Hands-on development and testing in a lab environment, validation plans and bring-up, accompanying production and qualification processes.

What we need to see:

• BS/MSEE and 5+ years of board/System design experience
• Proficiency in digital/analog circuit simulation and fault diagnosis.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Deep knowledge in analog and digital electrical circuits.
• Experience with SoC platform design, including high current power delivery and high speed signals.
• Proven industry experience with board design and fabrication including schematics, layout, and familiarity with thermal and mechanical design processes.
