Lenovo is seeking an experienced BIOS/UEFI engineer for next generation server products in Bengaluru, India. You will own UEFI/BIOS development, implement features, and drive bug fixes across planning, development, and validation phases.

Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to translate customer requirements into robust firmware and ensuring high quality, scalable server solutions in a global tech leader environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or similar field.
• Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 architectures, processors and chipsets.
• 8+ years of BIOS/UEFI development experience.
• Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preferred.
• Strong C coding skills; good knowledge of UEFI and EDK.
• Knowledge of industry standards (BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI).
• Experience with Intel ITP or similar HW debugging tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Join our New Expanding Team !

Lenovo ISG is seeking BIOS engineers for next generation server products. You will work closely with internal teams and be responsible for all UEFI/BIOS related works during the planning, development, and validation phases of the server product development. Responsibilities (but not limited as list):

• Responsible for x86 server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature development and bug fixing.
• Working with internal team to design new product features into next generation.
• Working with internal team and end-customers to understand customer’s requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
• Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including processor and chipsets.
• 8+ years’ experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
• Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
• Good understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Strong C coding skills and experience.
• Good knowledge of industry standards, such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
• Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware issues.
• Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
