Job summary

Health Care Global Enterprises in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Bioinformatician to develop and maintain automated workflows for somatic and germline analyses across exome, WGS, and targeted panels. You will integrate platforms for end-to-end clinical data processing and interpretation.

You will collaborate with genome analysts for variant reports, support sequencing teams, and contribute to multi-omics translational research. Mentoring junior staff and interns is part of the role.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or related field.
• 3–5+ years of bioinformatics experience with clinical genomics and NGS.
• Strong knowledge of Illumina sequencing platforms.
• Experience with variant calling, annotation, and visualization tools.
• Proficiency with variant interpretation databases and cancer panels.
• Proficiency in R, Python, Conda, Docker, Bash and Linux environments.
