Job summary

WSP India seeks a senior BIM engineer to lead the production of detailed structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, liaising with the global team and guiding junior staff. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality BIM deliverables for ME projects with strict adherence to standards.

You will oversee template creation, automate routines, and enforce CAD/BIM workflows while maintaining accuracy and technical excellence in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in structural detailing and BIM coordination.
• Fully conversant with structural software Revit Structures, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
• Fluent in English with strong technical terminology.
• Experience delivering multiple projects and mentoring junior staff.

Job description

This role is to work as part of WSP's Integrated Complementary Resource Centre (GCC) as part of an engineering team and taking a senior role in the production of detailed structural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD focused on production and liaison with the WSP in India global team and mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

Prepare structural detail and concept design drawings for various building and construction types to be built predominantly in ME.

Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement.

Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards

Automate routines to support standards and productivity

Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced

Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards

Experience in the use of the following software is essential:

REVIT MEP

AutoCAD (2D and 3D)

Navisworks

Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:

Autodesk 3ds MAX

MS Excel

Qualifications

Qualification in Revit

Experience: 8+years

Must be fully conversant with technical structural software, such as Revit Structures, ACAD, and Navisworks,

A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential

Must be fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence.

The role requires management of a number of projects and becoming involved in designs at an early stage.

Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software.
