Job summary

WSP in India is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be part of its Integrated Complementary Resource Centre (GCC). You will work on detailed structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, liaise with global teams, and mentor junior members.

The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience, expertise in structural software, and excellent communication skills in English. The position involves preparing design drawings, quality control, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• Must be fluent in English with good technical terminology understanding.
• Experience with Revit Structures, ACAD, and Navisworks required.

Overview

Job Description: This role is to work as part of WSP's Integrated Complementary Resource Centre (GCC) as part of an engineering team and taking a senior role in the production of detailed structural drawings in Revit and AutoCAD focused on production and liaison with the WSP in India global team and mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural detail and concept design drawings for various building and construction types to be built predominantly in ME.
• Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement.
• Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards.
• Automate routines to support standards and productivity.
• Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced.
• Assist in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Revit
• Experience: 8+ years
• Must be fully conversant with technical structural software, such as Revit Structures, ACAD, and Navisworks
• A sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project is essential
• Must be fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology
• The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence
• The role requires management of a number of projects and becoming involved in designs at an early stage
• Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software
