Job summary

WSP in India is seeking an MEP Revit Modeler in Bengaluru to provide CAD/BIM support on engineering projects. The role includes preparing 3D models, coordinating with other services, and managing project documentation.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and knowledge of MEP systems.

Job Description
To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP Revit Modeler within WSP in India in our Noida, Bengaluru office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to Team Leader in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP 3D Revit Model in LOD-350/400
• Coordinate models with other MEP services, Architectural, Civil and Structural model.
• Clash detection and clash resolution
• 2D drawings production
• Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
• Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisations / 4D models / renderings
• Prepare quantities for use in BQs from the 3D model
• Familiarity with COBie standards and BIM classification systems (e.g. Uniclass, OmniClass) is preferred
• Manage model versions, data exchange, and issue tracking within the Common Data Environment (CDE), such as BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

• Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be Bangalore/Noida)

• Lateral thinking and knowledge in other MEP services
• Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
