Job summary

Ramboll in India hires a Senior BIM Modeller to join the Global High‑Rise Buildings team. You will produce high‑quality 3D BIM models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring coordination and adherence to BEP across design stages.

The role requires 5–10+ years in 3D BIM, good Revit skills, and strong communication to work with a global project team while supporting automation and model integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Min. 5–10+ years of work experience in 3D BIM and REVIT.
• Experience delivering BIM across multiple design stages.
• Good knowledge of local and international building standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, coordinated structural models and drawings from concept to As-built.
• Follow RAMBOLL templates, standards, and BEP for all deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and maintain discipline model links.
• Develop Revit families and prepare drawings; manage QA checks.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and support automation workflows.

About the Role

Join Ramboll’s global High-Rise Buildings team, which has delivered over 150 tall building projects worldwide. As a Senior BIM Modeller, you will contribute to BIM project delivery by producing high-quality, well-coordinated, and technically accurate 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards across all design stages.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Deliver accurate and coordinated structural models and drawings from concept to As-built using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ensure adherence to Ramboll templates, standards, and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for all deliverables.
• Follow established modelling strategies and QA/QC requirements to maintain quality from the outset.
• Apply correct Revit workflows: modelling, tagging, view templates, worksets, schedules, and coordination processes.
• Develop Revit families, generate PDF/DWG exports, and prepare drawings as needed.
• Perform clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and maintain discipline model links.
• Support automation processes and manage ACC Revit workflows (Publish/Share/Consume).
• Communicate proactively with the BIM Manger/BIM Lead regarding project challenges and propose improvements.
• Carry out self-checks to ensure compliance with QA standards and checking procedures.
• Min. 5 to 10+ year of work experience in 3D BIM and REVIT. Dynamo knowledge will be an added advantage
• Experience in implementing the BIM Adoption of different BIM authoring tools and collaboration technology.
• Good knowledge of local/ International building standards
• Proficient with MS Office (Work, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Problem-solving and proactive approach to project delivery challenges.
• Ability to develop Revit families and manage multi-disciplinary model integration
• Familiarity with RTV Exporter, DiRoots/Naviate/Ideate tools, Rhino, Dynamo, and ACC features.
