Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Bengaluru seeks a Senior BigCommerce Front-End Engineer to own storefront architecture, drive advanced customizations, and lead frontend engineering teams in delivering high-performing, scalable commerce experiences.

You will translate UX designs into production-quality, accessible, and localized UI, lead code reviews, and implement GraphQL storefront usage, micro-frontend patterns, and third-party integrations to power omnichannel experiences.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of frontend experience delivering enterprise commerce/experience platforms.
• Expertise in BigCommerce headless implementations including GraphQL storefront API.
• Proficient in JS/TS, React/Next.js (or Remix), and Node.js.
• Experience with MACH services (CMS, search, CDP/CRM, DAM) integration.
• CI/CD and automated testing experience with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own storefront architecture, headless builds, and performance guardrails.
• Lead frontend reviews, standards, and automated testing pipelines.
• Implement BigCommerce customizations, checkout flows, and GraphQL usage.
• Coordinate CMS/DAM/marketing tool integrations for merchandising updates.
• Mentor nearshore/offshore engineers and drive regression coverage.
