Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Chennai is seeking an experienced Senior BI developer to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions leveraging Microsoft BI, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS and Power BI in an Azure-based environment. You will work in an international team and help develop new and existing BI solutions.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of total work experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education.

Experienced Senior BI developer worked with Microsoft BI products and Dev-ops / Git source control. Deep knowledge of SSIS, T-SQL, SSAS, SSRS and Power BI. Our BI environment is running on Azure cloud solutions and should be aware of the same.

Works in an international team, working to develop new and existing BI solutions.

This work will be done in close cooperation with the BI Team Leader in Chennai as well as with BI developers, architects, internal customers, and other developers within our IT organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, build and deploy business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Undertake rigorous testing to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain business analytics platforms.
• Adhere to Data Governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure optimum performance of all analytics and BI solutions.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.
• 6 - 9 years of total work experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.

Language Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
