Job summary

Merkle in Bengaluru is seeking a BI Analyst with 4+ years of Power BI and SQL experience to develop end-to-end dashboards and deliver insights from complex data sources.

You will translate business requirements into reporting solutions, validate data quality, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive data-driven decisions by building robust data models, documenting dashboard logic, and ensuring maintainable BI solutions across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant Power BI certifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Create and maintain data models, relationships, measures, and DAX calculations in Power BI.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented BI Analyst with 4+ years of experience in Power BI and SQL. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing end-to-end dashboards, performing data analysis and validation, and transforming business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Create and maintain data models, relationships, measures, and DAX calculations in Power BI.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.

• Good understanding of data modelling concepts and DAX, and understanding ETL process & GITHUB.
• Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.

Nice to Have
