The ideal candidate has around 8-10 years of software engineering experience and strong hands‑on experience with Python, backend APIs, workflow orchestration, distributed systems, and production‑grade engineering. Experience with FastAPI, Node.js / TypeScript, Redis, LangGraph, Temporal, or similar technologies is highly valuable. This is a hands‑on engineering role. We are looking for someone who can design, build, integrate, debug, and scale production systems, not just experiment with prompts or prototypes.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Python and backend service development.
- Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Django, Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js / TypeScript, or willingness to work across both Python and Node.js services.
- Experience designing and building production‑grade backend systems.
- Experience with workflow orchestration, state machines, event‑driven systems, or distributed process coordination.
- Experience integrating with internal or external APIs and enterprise systems.
- Understanding of caching, session state, queues, and distributed system patterns using Redis or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with conversational AI, LLM‑based applications, virtual assistants, chatbots, or AI‑powered automation.
- Strong engineering fundamentals around testing, logging, monitoring, security, CI/CD, reliability, and maintainability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LangGraph or similar graph‑based orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with Temporal or similar durable workflow engines.
- Experience building agentic AI systems, including routing, tool use, memory, planning, and context management.
- Experience with LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or similar AI/agent frameworks.
- Experience with RAG, vector search, embeddings, knowledge retrieval, and retrieval evaluation.
- Experience with memory and context engineering for AI applications.
- Experience with MCP, tool registries, function calling, plugin‑based integrations, or API adapter patterns.
- Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, LangSmith, Arize Phoenix, Opik, or similar platforms.
- Experience with customer service, contact centers, retail, CRM, order management, returns, payments, or post‑purchase support domains.
- Exposure to omnichannel customer experience patterns across chat, voice, email, messaging, and human handoff.
