Job summary

Oleria is seeking a senior backend engineer to build scalable microservices in Golang. You will own architecture, drive system-level decisions, and mentor junior engineers while delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Expect to work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure, high-performance services with robust data handling and latency optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and scalable backend services using Golang.
• Experience with API security, including rate-limiting, OAuth, and managing user sessions.
• Advanced skills in database optimisation, sharding, and query performance (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong experience in cloud-native applications, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation, unit testing, and writing scalable, fault-tolerant code.
• Demonstrates architecture ownership, scalability, latency handling, etc.
• Still writes production code regularly and can mentor juniors and drive system-level decisions.
