Job summary

NIUM in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable, reliable backend systems using Java, Spring, and APIs that deliver real value to customers. The ideal candidate will own large features end-to-end and proactively identify improvements to system quality, reliability, and scalability.

You will deliver and own large features, collaborate with the product team, design and deploy applications, and help ensure monitoring, security, and best practices across complex distributed

Qualifications

• 4-6 yrs of solid development experience using Java.
• Experience working with Spring framework.
• Experience building and operating highly available backend distributed systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of CS fundamentals.
• Experience leading technical design discussions, making trade-offs, and owning architecture decisions.
