Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering and cloud development experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable data platforms that power advanced healthcare analytics and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and cloud-native data engineering technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, product owners, analysts, and engineering teams to build resilient, secure, and scalable data solutions capable of supporting large-scale enterprise workloads. You will play a critical role in delivering modern data platforms, real-time data processing solutions, and cloud-based analytics capabilities.

• Collaborate with product owners, systems analysts, architects, and engineering teams to deliver solutions aligned with Agile roadmaps.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale data engineering solutions on Azure and cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Design and implement batch and real-time data processing solutions.
• Develop and optimize data integration frameworks using APIs, streaming technologies, and cloud-native services.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to support enterprise data platforms.
• Develop and maintain RESTful API integrations and data services.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data quality processes.
• Collaborate with solution architects to evaluate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support Data as a Service (DaaS) and Container as a Service (CaaS) initiatives.
• Build and maintain deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operational frameworks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root cause analysis activities.
• Utilize ServiceNow and ITSM processes for incident and problem management.
• Implement reliability engineering, fault-tolerant architecture, deployment planning, and automated testing practices.
• Ensure data platform scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

ExpertiseYou'llBring:

• 6?10 years of experience in Data Engineering and cloud-based application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Databricks and Kafka.
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and automation.
• Experience working with Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments is preferred.
• Experience using monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices including reliability engineering, deployment planning, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Experience with ServiceNow and incident management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
