Job summary

ABB in Bangalore, India, is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to design, automate and operate our enterprise Azure AI & Data Platform with end-to-end ownership from design through production. You will design infrastructure with Terraform and IaC, build reusable platform components, manage environments, and implement networking, RBAC, Private Endpoints and secrets.

The role requires 5+ years of Azure-focused engineering, strong scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash), and expertise

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Azure Cloud Platform Engineer or similar.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
• Azure networking knowledge: VNets, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, NSGs.
• Strong Azure DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines, YAML, repositories and release automation.
• Entra ID, Managed Identity, RBAC and Key Vault experience.
• Experience with Container Apps, App Services, Functions and ACR.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell and Bash.
• English at C1 level or higher.

Your role and responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, automate and operate our enterprise Azure AI & Data Platform. This is a senior hands-on position with end-to-end ownership from design through production operations.

The work model for the role is: #L1- Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation Business based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Own delivery of new Azure environments and project onboarding activities.

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher (spoken and written).
