Responsibilities

  • Lead Generative AI & Bedrock architecture and design for enterprise solutions.
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using Bedrock.
  • Evaluate foundation models (Claude, Llama, others) for business needs.
  • Implement prompt engineering, model orchestration, API integrations, and inference workflows.
  • Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) using Bedrock Knowledge Bases.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly technical and hands‑on Senior AWS Cloud & AI Architect to lead AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure implementation, Generative AI adoption, and advanced technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS architecture, Amazon Bedrock, Generative AI, RAG, Bedrock Agents, cloud security, networking, Windows application hosting, ECS containerization, CI/CD, and enterprise infrastructure operations. This role will also serve as a senior technical authority for complex infrastructure issues and will be responsible for leading technical interviews and assessments for Cloud, DevOps, and AI/ML engineering candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generative AI & Amazon Bedrock Architecture
  • Design and implement enterprise‑grade Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate foundation models such as Claude, Llama, and other supported models.
  • Implement prompt engineering, model orchestration, API integrations, and inference workflows.
  • Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases.
  • Implement AI agents and automated workflows using Amazon Bedrock Agents.
  • Configure and manage Bedrock Guardrails, model invocation logging, security controls, and data privacy mechanisms.
  • Work with embeddings, vector databases, context‑window management, and semantic search.
  • Integrate Bedrock with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and AWS services.
  • Troubleshoot Bedrock throttling, latency, invocation failures, model integration, and AI pipeline issues.
  • AWS Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
  • Design highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud architectures.
  • Architect solutions across multiple AWS services based on business and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement AWS EC2 Auto Scaling environments for enterprise applications.
  • Architect Windows‑based application hosting using Windows Server, IIS, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), FSx for Windows File Server, and Auto Scaling.
  • Design containerized microservices using Amazon ECS, Fargate, EC2, and Amazon ECR.
  • Optimize ECS tasks, services, deployments, networking, and auto‑scaling.
  • Design serverless and event‑driven architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
  • Design highly available database architectures using Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
  • Networking & Security
  • Design and troubleshoot complex AWS networking environments.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between AWS services, applications, containers, and on‑premises environments.
  • Implement secure private connectivity to AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock through VPC/PrivateLink‑based architectures where applicable.
  • Design enterprise security architectures using:
    • IAM
    • KMS
    • Secrets Manager
    • WAF
    • Shield
    • GuardDuty
    • AWS Config
    • CloudTrail
  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Operations
  • Act as the highest‑level technical escalation point for complex AWS infrastructure and application issues.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis across multiple AWS services and application layers.
  • Troubleshoot:
    • EC2 and Windows Server issues
    • IIS application failures
    • ECS deployment and container issues
    • IAM permission problems
    • VPC and routing issues
    • Load balancer failures
    • DNS and Route 53 issues
    • AWS service connectivity issues
    • Bedrock throttling and latency
    • Application and infrastructure performance bottlenecks
  • Analyze CloudWatch logs, CloudTrail events, application logs, network connectivity, and AWS service metrics.
  • Drive incident resolution, problem management, and preventive improvements.
  • Monitoring, Governance & Infrastructure Management
  • Implement monitoring and observability using Amazon CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
  • Manage AWS infrastructure using AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
  • Implement governance using AWS Organizations, Control Tower, AWS Config, and IAM.
  • Design infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation and other Infrastructure‑as‑Code approaches.
  • Implement scalable and automated infrastructure management across multiple AWS environments.
  • DevOps & CI/CD
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Integrate AWS environments with Azure DevOps and other DevOps tooling.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
  • Work with CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD pipelines, container image management, and deployment automation.
  • Establish DevOps best practices for AWS‑based applications and AI workloads.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Architecture.
  • Minimum 5+ years of strong hands‑on AWS experience.
  • Minimum 1 2 years of hands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock and Generative AI implementations.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise‑grade AWS architectures.
  • Strong experience with Amazon ECS, Fargate, EC2 Auto Scaling, Windows Server, and IIS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, identity, and cloud operations.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing RAG, Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Bedrock Agents, and Bedrock Guardrails.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to work across infrastructure, networking, security, containers, applications, and AI services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong experience conducting technical interviews and evaluating senior engineering candidates.
Preferred Certification
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate may be considered.
