Job summary

VOIS in Pune (EON) is seeking an experienced Automation Testing professional to design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks across API and UI testing layers. About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing professional to design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks across both API and UI testing layers. This opportunity is based in Pune (EON) and is suited to individuals with 5-7 years of experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and REST APIs. The role offers the chance to work within a modern technology landscape, leveraging BDD practices, cloud technologies and CI/CD processes to deliver high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium and Cucumber
• Create and execute automated test cases to ensure comprehensive API and UI test coverage
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and designers to understand requirements and clarify acceptance criteria
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve automation framework, script and environment-related issues
• Contribute to test automation standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support and mentor team members in automation testing approaches and technologies
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met across releases

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
• 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in automation testing
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium for UI automation
• Practical experience in API testing and automation using REST Assured or similar tools
• Expertise in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem‑solving capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment
