Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an Automation Solutions Developer to design and deliver automation that enhances efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing automation solutions using VBA, Python, and Power Automate.
• Strong understanding of workflow automation, scripting, data processing, and process optimization.
• Experience integrating enterprise apps, databases, MS 365 services, and external systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, API integrations, ETL, and reporting technologies.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop reporting, dashboarding, and data-processing solutions that support informed business decisions.


• Integrate systems and applications using APIs, databases, and cloud-based services.


• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and automation activities to improve data quality and business insights.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable automation solutions.


• Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing tools and automation solutions.


• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operating procedures.


• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate and optimize business processes.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.


• Proven experience developing automation solutions using VBA, Python, and Microsoft Power Automate.


• Strong understanding of workflow automation, scripting, data processing, and business process optimization.


• Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, Microsoft 365 services, and external systems.


• Knowledge of SQL, API integrations, ETL processes, and reporting technologies.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.


• Experience with SAP, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Finance, ERP, or business process automation projects is considered an advantage.
