Job summary

Ciklum in India is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will become part of a cross-functional development team, shaping the experiences of tomorrow through rigorous testing and automation.

Responsibilities include leading manual and automated testing for enterprise applications, building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks with PHP and Selenium, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, mentoring peers, and collaborating with engineering,

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in payments, fintech, or financial services, with a solid understanding of payment processing and settlement workflows
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for payment gateway consolidation or payment platform modernization initiatives
• Good understanding of payment gateways, transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks
• Experience working on legacy application modernization, preferably involving PHP-based applications and migration to modern architectures
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define cross-functional processes and solution requirements
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows (BPMN/UML), acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence, with experience supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business objectives and technical implementation across cross-functional teams
