Job summary

EngiNeo Solutions is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to design and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps in a fast-paced Agile environment, lead testing efforts, and mentor junior QA engineers to strengthen overall quality practices.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of QA automation experience in web, mobile, and API testing.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium, Cypress and Playwright.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or JavaScript and modern SDLC/Agile practices.
• Ability to design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Experience in API testing and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks.
• Build and execute automated scripts for functional, regression and integration testing.
• Test web and mobile apps across browsers/devices.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects with JIRA/Asana/Azure DevOps.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and shift-left quality practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and improve QA processes.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Automation QA Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in automation testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing strategies, ensuring product quality, and mentoring junior QA team members. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
• Build and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Perform testing for web and mobile applications across browsers/devices.
• Conduct API testing using Postman / Rest Assured / Swagger.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects using JIRA / Asana / Azure DevOps.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers to shift-left quality practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium / Cypress / Playwright.
• Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• Strong experience in regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant QA automation experience.

Good to Have

• Experience with Appium for mobile automation.
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter / LoadRunner.
• SQL / database validation skills.
• Experience in BDD tools like Cucumber.
• ISTQB certification.
