Job summary

Qvantel Software Solutions Ltd in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to lead automation efforts for web applications. The role focuses on Robot Framework, Python scripting, and strong testing and reporting capabilities within an Agile environment.

The position is permanent, based in Hyderabad, with responsibilities including automating test cases, developing scripts, and interacting with clients to provide status updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Robot Framework (Selenium2Library).
• Strong hands-on in writing automation scripts in Python.
• Good experience in software testing, reporting, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (preferably JIRA).
• Experience testing web applications; UNIX and SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Write test cases for automation of web applications.
• Develop automation scripts for web applications.
• Provide estimations for automation tasks.
• Write functional test cases and perform functional testing.
• Interact with the client as needed.
• Attend daily sync-up calls and report status to client.

Experience : 5 -7 years

Skills/Experience Required(As must):

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Robot Framework (Selenium2Library)
• Good hands on experience in writing automation scripts in python.
• Good experience in Software testing and reporting.
• Strong communication skills
• Good experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in test management tools (preferably JIRA)
• Should have worked on Testing web applications
• Experience in UNIX, Database (Writing SQL queries)

Good to Have the Knowledge on below areas:

• BSS and telecom domain experience
• JUnit or other similar performance testing tool
• knowledge/Experience in html and CSS
• Knowledge of python programming.
• Knowledge on Jenkins
