Job summary

Agivant Technologies India Private Limited is seeking Senior Automation Engineers to join a dedicated engineering pod. You will eliminate manual overhead by developing infrastructure-as-code and building custom intermediary services to optimize CI/CD integrations.

Role requires hands-on Terraform, GitLab REST API, and Jenkins experience with scripting in Python/Bash/Go. You will automate migrations, monitor proxy services, and support 40+ repository reconfigurations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience.
• Strong proficiency deploying Terraform in production.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab REST API and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for developing webhook services.
• Knowledge of network proxies, routing, and payload translation mechanisms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced DevOps pod and troubleshoot complex integration bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate migrations.
• Use GitLab REST API to apply configurations and validate migrations.
• Create and maintain a RelayProxy translation service or configure tools like ngrok to ingest GitLab webhooks.
• Execute bulk reconfiguration of 40+ repositories using automation templates.

About the Role: We are hiring Senior Automation Engineers to join adedicated Agivant engineering pod. In this role, you will be hands-on ineliminating manual overhead by developing infrastructure-as-code and buildingcustom intermediary services to optimize CI/CD integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• IaCDevelopment: Write,test, and maintain robust Terraform scripts to automate the migration ofrepository configurations (users, groups, repos) from Gerrit to GitLab.
  
• APIIntegration: Utilizethe GitLab REST API extensively to programmatically apply configurationsand validate migrations.
  
• ProxyService Coding: Developand maintain a custom RelayProxy translation service (or configure toolslike nGrok) to ingest GitLab webhooks and distribute them to multipledownstream Jenkins pipelines.
  
• Execution& Testing: Executethe bulk reconfiguration of 40+ repositories utilizing the developedautomation templates, reducing the current 2-hour-per-repo manual effort.
  
• OperationalSupport: Provideongoing maintenance, monitor proxy service health, and troubleshootpipeline trigger failures.
  

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and CI/CD optimization.
  
• Strongproficiency in writing and deploying Terraformcode inproduction environments.
  
• Hands-onexperience managing and integrating GitLab(REST API) and Jenkins.
  
• Proficiencyin at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Bash, Go) fordeveloping intermediate webhook services.
