The Senior Associate, Tangible Assets supports corporate valuation engagements across geographies, reporting to the VAL director and collaborating with U.S.-based teams in a high-performance environment. Willingness to relocate to Gurgaon or Mumbai is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and / or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field from a top undergraduate program.
• Ideally willing to relocate to or be primarily present in either Gurgaon or Mumbai.
• Two plus years of experience at a Big Four accounting firm or top-tier investment bank / financial advisory firm serving U.S. clients, with hands‑on exposure to valuation models like direct and indirect cost approach models, market-based depreciation curves, bespoke tangible asset models for specific industries and other tangible asset models.
• Willingness to support broader valuation analyses across corporate and portfolio valuation as opportunities arise.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑ready presentation and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast‑moving teams.
• High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset.
• Track record of success in high‑pressure, client‑facing environment

Responsibilities

• Work with the Portage Point team (Associates to Managing Directors) and clients to develop comprehensive valuation solutions
• Perform valuation analysis of fixed assets, including machinery & equipment, real estate improvements, infrastructure, and specialized industrial assets across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory
• Analyze and interpret financial, operational and market data to support tangible asset valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, financing, insurance and strategic purposes
• Support client interviews to gather data and pertinent information
• Develop detailed financial models, assumptions and supporting analyses in accordance with applicable accounting, regulatory and professional standards
• Support internal trainings and best practice sharing
• Contribute to high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture
