Job summary

CohnReznick is expanding its Transaction Advisory Services team in India, offering a Senior Associate role within the Value360 practice. This remote-friendly position supports buy-side and sell-side due diligence for middle-market clients, with occasional office presence as needed.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of experience, CA or MBA/PGDM in Finance, strong financial statement skills, and hands-on Excel and data analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Qualified CA or MBA/PGDM in Finance from prestigious B school.
• Excellent accounting skills and strong understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to work independently and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing; MS Word and Advanced MS Excel; Data Analytics knowledge.
• Should be able to communicate with clients on the phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
• Analyze historic and current financial information and summarize findings.
• Prepare Excel data books and analyze revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities.
• Preparation of due diligence reports highlighting key findings and presenting summary analysis.
• Coordinate among US and India teams on engagements.
• Create strong relationships with clients and Target management.
• Identify deal issues, advising on structuring and impact.
• Understand transaction structure and related advice.

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Transaction Advisory Services team in our Value360 practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance middle market companies and private equity investors
• Analyze historic and current financial information. Summarizing and analyzing financial/accounting information relating to income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, quality of earning, quality of net assets etc.
• Preparing Excel data books and analyzing revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities with the objective of identifying key issues such as normalized earnings, net debt, Liabilities, net working capital trends, valuation model input assumptions, analysis of forecasts etc.
• Preparation of due diligence reports highlighting key findings and presenting summary analysis
• Coordinating among various teams working on the engagement both in US and India
• Creating strong relationships with clients and Target management
• Identify deal issues, assessing their impact on the transaction (valuation) and advising on ways to address the issues.
• Understanding transaction structure and basis it advised on structuring

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:
