Job summary

Amgen seeks an experienced AEM Developer to join the Information Systems team in Hyderabad. You will own end-to-end AEM platform support, implement reusable components, and drive CI/CD deployments across cloud environments.

Strong Java and front-end skills are essential, with experience in Sling Models, OSGi, JCR and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate has 5–9 years of Information Science experience, is proficient in scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell), and holds relevant AEM certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Science with 5–9 years of experience.
• Strong front-end skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AEM, Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR and RESTful APIs.
• Experience supporting production apps and resolving AEM operational issues.
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML and API integrations.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Proficiency with SDLC, Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of API management platforms like MuleSoft is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and GenAI (ChatGPT) is a plus.
• AEM Developer certification or related Adobe certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for the Adobe AEM platform, troubleshooting incidents, defect triage and production support.
• Support health, stability and performance of AEM apps, Dispatcher and related cloud environments.
• Govern AEM usage by defining standards, best practices, development patterns and reusable components.
• Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows and content models.
• Build PoCs and reusable technical solutions to validate approaches and accelerate development.
• Integrate AEM with third-party systems, REST APIs and Adobe Experience Cloud services.
• Support deployments and release activities through CI/CD pipelines and cloud delivery processes.
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements in caching, indexing, and queries.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and Agile ceremonies.
• Continuously improve code quality and maintainability of the platform.

• Provide day-to-day operational support for the Adobe AEM platform, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, defect triage, and production support.
