Play a vital role and be part of the web team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling Amgen brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen's Global Commercial Client Facing Web Technology Team.
Win What we expect of you
- Develop AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and related code following established patterns and standards.
- Support daily operational activities across AEM environments, including troubleshooting issues, incident management, monitoring platform health, process AmgenNow requests such as user access, DNS within SLA.
- Implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, service classes, and standard AEM extension points.
- Contribute to feature development by building front end and back end functionality in AEM using HTL, Java, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Assist in configuring dispatcher rules, caching strategies, environment settings, and other operational elements as guided by senior team members.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality, maintainability, and adherence to secure development practices.
- Document implementation details, workflows, and reusable patterns to support team knowledge sharing.
- Take part in agile ceremonies as needed, providing updates, identifying blockers, and collaborating with teammates to deliver sprint commitments.
- Work with DevOps teams to execute deployments, validate environments, and contribute to CI/CD tasks.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 6 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting production applications, troubleshooting incidents, or working within an operational support environment is a plus.
- Practical experience with Adobe AEM Sites as Cloud Service, including component development, client libraries, and basic OSGi concepts.
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with backend development in Java and common frameworks used alongside AEM.
- Ability to work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integrate data into AEM components.
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is helpful.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is a plus.
- Understanding of SDLC processes, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem solving abilities, especially in diagnosing front end and back end issues in AEM sites.
- Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
- Interest in learning modern tools and technologies, including GenAI tools such as ChatGPT.
- Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
