Job Description

Sutherland is seeking an attentive and analytical person to join as an SSIS ETL Developer responsible for development of ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Keep management updated: provide regular updates on development progress, risks, mitigation plans and team performance.
• Lead design, development and delivery of scalable, secure and high‑performance healthcare analytics platforms.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, development processes and architectural standards across projects.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps and client stakeholders to align technical delivery with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide multiple development teams; manage workload allocation, conduct performance reviews and drive talent development.
• Oversee end‑to‑end software lifecycle ensuring high code quality, timely delivery and adherence to compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Plan, coordinate, develop and support ETL processes including architecture of table structures, building ETL processes, documentation and long‑term preparedness.
• Develop cross‑validation rules to ensure mapping accuracy.
• Meet all defined requirements of the project and provide production support of existing ETL processes.
• Document steps needed to migrate database objects between development, UAT, staging and production environments.
• Communicate issues, risks and concerns proactively to management.
• Document ETL process thoroughly to allow peers to assist with support as needed.
• Provide regular project updates to Information Analysts and management as needed.
• Be self‑sufficient and possess strong communication skills.
• Must be skilled with MS Office applications.
• Data warehousing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BTech/BE/MCA.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SSIS ETL development.
• Shift timings – 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST.
• Working location: Sutherland Divyasree (Lanco) Office, Hyderabad.
• Relocation: Not covered.

• Local preferred: Yes.
